Hunger wins Jerusalem International Film Festival Award

Steve McQueen's Hunger has added the “In the Spirit of Freedom” Award from the 2008 Jerusalem International Film Festival to its fast-growing list of honours. Two awards are given in this category of film, fiction or documentary, that deal with issues of human and civil rights, freedom of speech and expression.
The members of the jury for the competition were Ron Pundak, Director, Peres Center for Peace, Caroline Libresco, Senior Programmer at the Sundance Film Festival and Koby Gall Raday, Producer and content editor.
