Dragon DI was formed early in 2006 to produce world class post production, VFX and Digital Intermediate for the UK, European, American and World film community – which is great news for the TV community! Why? Because it means you have a facility that can work in HD without incurring the huge overhead that HD normally brings.

HD is generally perceived as being very expensive, not just to shoot, but also to post produce. This needn’t be the case. Certainly HD is more expensive than SD – but it should be comparable, and it should also be ‘easy’. You should be able to work in real time, you should expect ALL your project to be completed at HD (including all the effects, grading, even painting and rotoscoping), and it should be easily monitored, with realtime renders that allow you to take a valid part in the execution of the post. And crucially, it shouldn’t cost the Earth.
