Lights, camera, action for Sony UK TEC’s Ffilm Factory 35

Pencoed, South Wales – Sony UK Technology Centre has formally launched 30,000 square feet of filming and production space at its site in Pencoed.

Ffilm Factory 35 occupies former manufacturing space and will provide dedicated filming and production facilities for Welsh TV and film productions. The area will include production offices, changing rooms, make-up suites and four dedicated loading bays with direct lorry access.

Working in partnership with Dragon Digital, Sony UK TEC will offer professional camera servicing and support on-site, 24/7 CCTV Security coverage, 24hr security guards, perimeter fencing with badge access control, access to 1GB/s networking infrastructure, ample on-site parking and storage. Cast and crews can also enjoy a fully staffed canteen on a daily basis and the availability of dedicated meeting rooms.

Dragon Digital were the first tenants at the Sony UK Technology Centre and have been at the centre for over 10 years, with their world-class post production services. Dragon are industry leaders with an on-site 4K Grading Suite, a dedicated Sound Studio and digital dailies offering.
